Dear Family and Friends,

Let your joy be complete in Christ this Autumn by embracing Jesus’s suffering, death and resurrection. When bad news and sad news of the deadly earthquake news of March 28 reached to us our immediate response would be disbelief, anger, frustration and sadness and still many are in shocks and many are missing, many are burying their deceased ones in Burma. Many may ask where is God when its hurting and that’s the toughest question to answer in times like this as our hearts bleed badly. In times like this let us focus on Jesus and search for answers in the scriptures. Regarding suffering, Jesus swung into action and healed all kinds of sickness; he raised the dead and consoled the broken-hearted; he forgave sinners, liberated those in the power of the devil, and welcomed the oppressed and rejected (Matthew 9:35). In our sufferings the Lord knows and He will not abandon us (Hebrews 13:5). After Jesus came, taught, served, died sacrificially, and was risen to new life, He returned to the Father’s side in heaven. Yet He did not leave those who had followed Him for several years on earth without hope. He assured them in Matthew 28:20, “I am with you always, to the end of the age. Jesus did not leave His disciples alone in the world, and He never leaves us on our own. His very spirit, who knows the heart of God and intercedes for our lives, is within us.
If you feel God has abandoned you or forgotten you, take heart, consider the disciples after Jesus left the earth. We are not left alone but kept safe in God’s holy presence and guided by His Spirit. Let us live by the power of the resurrection to overcome our fear of pain and sufferings and death, let us serve the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit to those who are broken hearted and facing death and grief because said I am the life and the resurrection John 11:25. Christ is risen and indeed He is alive in us. Live a life of Christ died for us to redeem us from death to life yesterday, let’s celebrate today as Christ is risen to make us righteous before God the Father and live by hope for tomorrow that Christ is coming back soon.
Have a blessed (The resurrection Day) this month (Easter) and carry on with the mission for Christ.
